Day 03

Big night out in Launceston last night with Tish and Mike. Nice town in the day but what a place it tuns into at night...Pubs have a banned list long as your arm, boy racers constantly buzz the town and we saw one Woman getting thrown out of a pub..maybe the local Rattler cider has got something to answer. Anyway, we managed to find sanctuary in a nice Italian called Robertos, Bob to his M8s and enjoyed a pasta/pizza meal in the safety of this bunker.

Set off bright and early through the high hedgerow Devon countryside and was soon on the edge of Dartmoor plateau approaching Okehampton. Sticking to the minor B roads where I can up and down and up and down but much safer than the faster A road routes. Lunch was a Pastie and Eccles cake supplied by Boyce together with a brew alfresco out the back of the van in the warm sunshine.

Head down and arrived at Silverton Inn by 1.30, checked in and a swift couple of pints early doors whilst waiting for the support van who had a kip 12 miles back and missed the scheduled tea stop!

The pub looks good and going to get my head down and recharge for tonight.

Why are most of the photos in a pub?!!! you should put 'pints consumed' in the daily statistics section too!! xx
